HOLidAy mOoOd...

OoPs...been neglecting my blog for quite some time...paiseh...cos my "blogging is sian lehz" syndrome is back...hahahz...sometimes...i do find blogging a chore...cos got soooo many things to say...juz too lazy to put them in words...hahahz...lazy me...anyway...my com is always giving probs too...so forgive me if i'm slow in blogging...not my fault hor...
many things happened during this week...u can nvr expect man...OP...ocean ambassador...cOmIcS...ahhh...let me elaborate slowly...hope u wont fall asleep reading my blog...hahahz..(some ppl complain my blog too wordy...HA!)

ok...let me start by saying abt my oral presentation...i'll give my grp's overall presentation an OKAY...cos we were quite fluent and natural...and most importantly...we had the laughing element...(as least we made the audience and assessors laugh!) for myself...i did fumble my words and repeat "therefore" sooo many times...no choice...i was kinda nervous...but i think i manage to pass it...i hope so...my classmates were fine too...could see "RELIEVED" on their faces...guess everyone's OP was good...aiyahz...i believe the teachers are not so mean lahz...i'm juz glad that PW is FINALLY OVER...(haiz...but i still got LEP PW...AHHHHH!!!)

Ocean Ambassador (2 day) in Sentosa...05S1A's learning journey...hmm...it's really not bad...i did enjoy myself...initially...i cldnt bear the thought tat my 40 bucks wld be gone juz like tat...(hey...40 bucks can do A LOT of things lohz...) but after the whole exp...it was quite worthwhile...hahaz...let me tell ya more abt it...
Day 1: Went to Underwater World and listened to a short conservation talk on sharks... then had a tour around the place...hadnt been there for a long time already...saw many aquatic animals...then went for the "behind the scenes" tour...was quite fun... after tat had lunch at delifrance...sooo ex lohz...eat the chicken deli until i nearly vomited...hahaz...later we went to dolphin lagoon and watched the performance (drats...it was raining heavily at tat time too...)...the dolphins were simply brillant...then we also got the chance to touch the dolphin JUMBO! The skin was kinda rubbery though...hahaz...then our class were split into 2 grps...and i'm in GRP B...
Day 2: basically...ppl in grp B had report to Dolphin Lagoon in the morning for some washing tasks...but the staff were TOO NICE to us...giving the gals err...sand piling jobs...which is not exactly fun...thought we cld wash the kitchen and prepare food for dolphins...guess they dun trust us after all...and we dun get to touch the water...haiz...
fortunately...the 2nd part of the job attachment was SUPER FUN...we went to underwater world to help up...we are split into 3 mini grps...one will be in charge of the fossil sketching...another one will be at the touch pool...encouraging tourists to touch the marine animals and also to obey the correct instructions...the last grp will be doing mascots...Shark & Dolphin! After tat we got to rotate our jobs...went to do the mascot thing first...it was sooo interesting...imagine many kids run towards u...wanting to hold ur hand...surrounding u...taking pictures...WOW...so cool...even adults were enthu (hahaz...u can nvr imagine how the adults behaved...shocked!)...the only bad thing was...it was damn HOT in the costume...simply sweating like a pig...hahaz...
touch pool was quite fun too...cos u got to interact with the tourists and touch the marine animals too...i luv the blue stingray the best...the skin was sooo smooth! as for the fossil sketching...i sketch a few for myself...and i was proud of my artistic side of me...(hahaz...even 3 year old kid also noe lahz...)....many kids did enjoy the sketching process too...hahaz...
overall...it was sooo fun-filling...we even extended our time to help out...we even made balloons...hehez...i learnt to make dog and sword frm nicole and yin mun...hahaz...wldnt mind to come back to underwater world to help out in future...
the day ended with a nice BK dinner with my frens...syl, nicole, pilai, zj, chee kian, yin mun, jong, yingz & julia...

thanx to Li Rong for introducing me to AZ comic shop in hougang...went to check it out with ong ytd...they have a wide variety of comics...mainly frm taiwan...i took a long time to choose the comic bks i wanna borrow...hahaz...of cos...ong & i became members...hehez...now i can read comics books in ease (provided i got money to rent them...hahahz...) the auntie there was very kind and helpful...and i was impressed by her knowledge on comics books...she seemed to noe the books that i want to rent...hahaz...i was glad to find bus 72 going to hougang...cos i dun wan to take mrt...and in near future...bus 72 will be the direct bus frm my new house...hahahaz...back to comics...i luv 2 manga authors...Yuu Watase & Ai Morinaga...so i wld be focusing more on their manga for the time being...i want to rent anime too...but...anime is juz too ex...haiz...btw...Alice19th ROCKS!

juz one more week...i can kiss sch goodbye (for the time being...) and welcome my holidays with my arms...hohoho...tml...the day after tml...and on...will be days of lectures...muz pay attention...hehez...but my holiday mood has already arrived...wat the heck....cos been a bit forgetful and 'dazey' these few days...everytime when i read comics or watch anime/idol dramas (onli for those can create huge impact in me)...i will going into 'dreamy' mode for a few days...hahaz...tat's me lohz...vanessa!
